Seth

Seth constantly tries to pull over our lamp. Luckily it is a cheap lamp from good old Walmart, it weighs nothing and is made entirely out of plastic. So we put his walker in front of it, and for a while now it has blocked it....Until now. Seth has gotten smart and today I watched him as he pushed the walker out of the way and pulled the lamp down!

We bought pumpkins at the store to carve the other day, Seth loves them. He always crawls up to them and bangs on them, and rolls them around. I think it is so cute.

Seth can open all my cupboards now. He found my big container of cookie cutters. Now I am constantly stepping on cookie cutters.

The classic Seth smile.

Not enjoying playing with his cousins

We were at Ryan's parents house and Seth was just playing around. He was playing on this bike and he kept sucking in his belly and puffing out his chest. It was so funny!!

We had the missionaries over....A future missionary in the making!!

His new hat mommy made him.

A captain Jack Sparrow hat. This one is for you Grammie Grandma!!!

Now these video's probably wouldn't be of any interest to anyone but family members. They are just some funny things about our little man.

Watching Baby McDonald. He recently has taken an interest to Baby Einstein. It is like baby drugs. Seth usually never sits still, but yet he is glued to the T.V. I don't know how they do it.

Seth clapping!!

The best laugh ever, it brightens my day.

GO USC!!!

For our anniversary back on August 8, I gave Ryan tickets to a USC game! The day finally came, on Saturday we went to the USC vs. Oregon game. It was so much fun! Ryan was in a dream. I couldn't believe how big the stadium was, it was unreal. As you can tell we didn't have 50 yard line tickets, but it was awesome to be there.

Pumpkin Patch

We took Seth to the pumpkin patch for the first time!! He was in such a bad mood the whole time, the little stinker. It was so unlike him to act like that. Anyway these were the best shots we could get. We love our little pumpkin!!!

10 Months OH MY!!

Our Little man is 10 months today!! This is going way too fast STOP!!!! Anyways 9 months was big for our little guy. I feel like every month I say that, They just grow and learn so much at this age.

So Seth now weighs 27 lbs, he is 29 inches long!
He is getting his top 4 teeth at the same time!!! (the 4 top ones at the same time, is that like a record or something, PoOr LiTtLe GuY!!)
He wears 18 month clothes and is close to needing 24 months size. (WhAt??)
He waves bye, bye, and says dada, he pulls himself to standing on everything constantly. His favorite places to stand is the open dishwasher, and the bathtub!
This month we have totally noticed that Seth is way aware of us, and everything. He interacts more and seems more like a kid, than a baby. He is such a cute, happy little guy and we sure do love him!!

Aquarium of the Pacific!!!!

So last Saturday Ryan's family treated us with a day at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach. Everyone was able to come so it was a real fun day. Seth of course loved the fish and kept waving at all of them. It was so cute!! Thanks Jay and Cheryl!

So I thought I would take these pictures out of the slide show. So at the aquarium there is a exhibit with Lorikeets. You can feed the lorikeets nectar and they will land on you.. Fun Right??? Well I have this thing about touching, or holding some animals. I don't like holding hamsters, or touching any animals except maybe dogs. I just have this touch barrier that I can't seem to break. So I would like to show you these pictures that Ryan snapped. Be advised that these are my true emotions, not faking at all, I couldn't restrain myself I was screaming. Completely horrified.

So my Brother/Sister-in-law Jeff and Danielle were pulling me closer to them and trying to make the birds get on me.

I thought you would enjoy my embarrassment!

Another Adventure to Utah

So I recently got back from another vacation to Utah to see the fam, as well as an excuse to go dance at the University of Utah's homecoming game for Crimson Line Alumni. (For those of you who don't know, It is the U's dance team called "crimson line" and they invite all old members to come and learn a dance and perform at halftime at the homecoming game. More about that later.) I had a great time hanging out with family and just having a change in scenery.

The Smith cousins (minus Ben who lives in Oklahoma :(sad ) Mason, Mckayden and Seth.

One day I went with my sister to Discovery Gateway. It was a lot of fun, now that Seth kinda knows what is going on. It is so much fun having a sister that has a baby the same age as Seth, I just wish we lived closer!! Anyways, we spent most of the time in the baby area and just let Mason and Seth crawl around and explore. It was so much fun, but we were exhausted after!

What do you do if you spill Puffy snacks on the floor?? Sweep them up?? no we let the babies have a snack!! (notice Seth's binkie in upside down.. I think it's funny)

Watching Pre-game!!

Go UTES!!!
So this is a huge reason why I came up to Utah was to go dance. I wasn't able to do it last year cause I was 7 months pregnant, but I really wanted to come do it and show my old teammates Seth. I will admit I was pretty rusty and messed up a lot, but everyone was saying they did too so hopefully the audience understands that some of us it has been a long time since we have danced! Anyways it brought back a lot of memories, I can't believe I did that, and the time, how did I have the time for it?? I didn't have a life obviously. Crimson Line was my life for two years of college. But It was so much fun and I had lots of good memories and experiences traveling and how many people can say they danced in college.. not a lot, I don't know how I got lucky cause I am not that great of a dancer. It was also awesome to be able to dance with my older sister who was also on the team. Also I want to give a shout out to my mom and Grandparents who came to every game (Football and Basketball) to watch us dance while my sister and I were on the team. And they even came up to watch us this time. Thank you so much for supporting us, It means a lot. Anyways, Go Crimson Line!!
4 Years later look at us.. married and with babes!! My how time flies!!

Ryan's part of the team

Funny story here, or at least I thought so. Ryan was watching the USC game game a few weeks ago and it was a close game, I don't remember who they were playing.. But Ryan was getting all anxious, pacing the living room, and yelling at the T.V., Ladies you know what I mean. Anyways he all of a sudden grabs Seth's USC hat and puts it on, Like it's gonna help the team ya know. I of course snapped a picture.
