Weston James Bias--June 23

Weston is here! He started his arrival in the evening of June 22 after some stair runs and chasing bunnies in the moonlight at a local park with the family. Mild contractions started around 10 pm and kept coming until 1am when we decided we should go to bed and thought that they would either go away or I would wake up when they were too painful. At 3:30 am I woke Ryan up and said I think we need to go to the Hospital. We called Ryan's parents to come over to take care of Seth and headed to the hospital. My contractions were pretty intense and coming every 1 1/2 mins....too quickly they thought but I was only dilated to a 2 :( But  they thought I must be just beginning active labor.  I was dumping key tones again like I did with Seth  (meaning I was dehydrated). So they hooked me up to an IV and told me to walk around the hospital for 2 hours and then they would check me again. I was devastated because I was in lots of pain but we started walking. My contractions slowed down to every 4 mins but they became longer, harder, and hurt like no other. I only made in walking an hour because I was just so tired from not getting any sleep that night. Labor and Delivery was super busy that night so instead of checking me 2 hours later, I got checked 4 hours later!!! I was seriously dying and on the verge of a mental breakdown because I was in so much pain. (I was scared of being sent home because with Seth I was sent home twice) So the whole time I was just crying to Ryan saying What if I am not dilating and I have to go home. But Ryan kept laughing at me and told me that I was in labor that there is no way they would send me home like this. While I am in labor I do not think logically. Finally I was checked and the midwife said " Oh yeah you are definitely staying, you are 6 cm."  Right then and there I just started crying with happiness!!!  My triage nurse felt bad for me since I had to wait so long to be checked and since I was in so much pain that as soon as I got the admit okay from the midwife she called the blessed epidural man so he would be there as soon as I got into the labor room! Bless her heart!! After the epidural It was totally smooth sailing I was super comfy and even got to sleep a little.  Around 3pm it was time to push...3:12  Weston joined our family!!  It was super easy delivering him compared to my 3 1/2 hour pushing extravaganza I had with Seth. There was meconium in the amniotic fluid so he had to go to the nurses almost immediately after he came out...but he turned out to be okay and got to come see me.  We don't have a whole lot of pictures since Ryan was trying to fill many different roles in the labor room, but here are a few of our little Weston guy.  A disclaimers... Why must I go into labor every time in the middle of the night so I look like horse poop??  At least Weston is cute!!

Weston James Bias... 6/23/2012  3:12pm  8lbs even 20 3/4 inches long

I was crying really hard when he finally arrived. I was so overwhelmed with happiness. If you know we had a  tiny struggle trying to have another child, I was just so happy that it finally happened and he was here safe and sound.

Getting all cleaned up!!!

Celebration lunch for Ryan and I
Getting ready to come home the next day!!

Random Photo's

Family Photo in Arizona on 4-28-2012. We traveled to Arizona for Ryan's cousin Josh's wedding...sadly this is the only picture we took while there.
Seth and I were coloring on his Aqua doodle one day....I was pretty impressed by both of his faces he drew.
First time going to Chuck E. Cheese for cousin Corrine's 6th Birthday party. He loved playing all the games..the rat mouse guy...not so much!

Ryan celebrated his 29th birthday!!!

Utah Trip (May 2012)

The beginning of May Seth and I traveled to Utah for much needed time with my family. Seth loved flying on the airplane, and did really well. Once in Utah he had a blast playing with all of Grammie's toys. Seth and cousin Mason had lots of fun playing together.

The trampoline was a big hit! I think Seth was out there several times a day. He had a fun time perfecting his tricks!

Grammie even got in on the fun playing with the grand kids. I tried to jump once and it was such a weird feeling with a very large baby belly!

Bath time was grand in Grammie's big tub

We went and visited Grammie and Aunt Kelsey at work and played in the playroom for awhile.
We paid a visit to Discovery Gateway.

Seth's favorite part was the grocery store.....we left there in complete meltdown status!

Bedtime stories with Grammie and cousins
We went and watched Mason's soccer game. Seth loved it and wanted to go play too.
We went to a high school friends daughter's birthday party on Cinco de Mayo!
Baby brother got in on the fun too!
Donkey rides

On Sunday we celebrated Stryder's birthday..and true to tradition. He got a themed birthday cake. Since Stryder is leaving on a mission he got a white shirt and tie cake!

We visited Wheeler farm

Seth loved sitting on all of the tractors

We had lots of fun just playing at Grammie's house with cousins and Grammie!

This picture was taken the morning we left. Seth was really sad that we were leaving and wouldn't look at the camera. The main reason we went to Utah at this time was to say Goodbye to my brother Stryder who left on a mission on June 6, 2012 to Kenniwick, Washington. Since I am nearing the end of my pregnancy I couldn't be there for his farewell, so we came to say goodbye a little early. Love my "little" brother!
