Fullerton Arboretum

A couple of weeks ago (I am a little behind on my blogging) we found this place called the Fullerton Arboretum. It is located on the campus of Cal State Fullerton, and it is completely free. It is this great garden that has different sections that illustrate all the different plants, and trees throughout California. You know it had a desert part, tropical, forest, etc... It was a fun outing, enjoy our pictures!

Oh and I just noticed while making the slide show....Why are there so many pictures of me?? Sorry I guess I need to steal the camera from Ryan.

He's Crawling!!

He finally did it!! For a couple weeks now he has been so close, but today he finally did it! The first time he was up on his knees and was dragging them, but every time he tries he gets better and better. This video was his 4Th time crawling. I am so happy because he has been so crabby because he has been getting frustrated with not being able to do it. Now that he can move he is happy as a clam! We're so proud of you Seth.

The Bias cousins!!

Grandma and Grandpa Bias decided to spoil the grand kids, Seth came home with a little Ride-on dump truck. Seth loves it! I put him on it and he gives me this big grin and starts waving his arms and hits all the buttons, It is hilarious! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

August

August was a busy month for us. The second week of the month Ryan's Two week break started from school. It began by Babysitting 3 kids for a family in our old ward for a week (sorry no pictures, it was too crazy), then Ryan went on a hunting trip with his dad (no pictures either, but he brought back something.see below), then it was lots of fun outings. It was fun to have daddy around, but Seth and I are worn out and welcome the quiet days ahead at home. Although Ryan is not looking forward to studying again. Enjoy looking at our pictures from the past month.

A while ago I bought some letters that I had been meaning to paint, and I think Ryan was bored so he got them out and he started to paint them. I think he did a really good job.

Getting into mommy's nail polish!!

One evening we went to the beach for a picnic dinner and just had fun taking pictures. Don't mind our sweatiness(if thats a word)!!

Remember how I told you Ryan brought back a prize from hunting.....Poison Oak! Almost 3 weeks later and he is still horribly itching.

So you know those junkmail envelopes with tons of coupons and stuff...they are a very fun toy for a 9 month old who loves paper!!

So Ryan found out that you don't have to have a fishing license to fish off a public pier.....that next day he went fishing with his friend John. Ryan is a man of the sea!!

One day we went to the Getty museum in Los Angeles. If you aren't familiar with it, it is a famous Art museum. I had no idea what it was before I went, but you have to ride on a tram up to the museum in the foothills of L.A. Ryan and I felt like we were in Europe or something, the style and architecture of the place was amazing! I totally could see my sister Hillary liking this place. The architecture itself was art itself, but inside all the buildings were amazing paintings, and sculptures. There was even an exhibit that was on loan from the Louvre in Paris. How Fancy!! Anyways there were awesome gardens and grounds to walk around in. We were there all day long, it was a lot of fun. I would recommend it to anyone in the area!

Seth's famous face he does all the time

Then to finish off the month we went and had San Diego fun with my Aunts family for a few days. The pictures are from when we went to seaport village.

Phew!!! Sorry for the long post.

9 Months!!!

Our little man is 9 months old today!! It is totally crazy how fast time has gone by. He has officially been out as long as he was in. He is such a joy to have in our home. His little laugh brightens up my day, and I have yet been able to get through a store without a dozen people stopping me to google at our little guy, he is a very social kid and will gibber jabber at them and give anyone a smile. He is now wearing 18 month clothes and is on the brink of crawling. He is so so so so close. We love watching him learn new things. Already we can tell that he is going to be trouble when he fully gets on the move, he is all over the place already. But we are excited for this new milestone.
