On August 8 was our 5th wedding anniversary! This may be lame..but I can't believe it has been 5 years already, but at the same time a lot has happened in 5 years. We had originally planned to have a overnight trip to Catalina without Seth, but some plans fell through, so we went to plan B, which ended up to be a lot of fun. It wasn't quite the romantic weekend we had planned but we had a good time as a family.. We went to the BEACH! Ryan got to go surfing and Seth and I had fun playing in the waves and building/smashing sandcastles.

We took a stroll down Huntington Beach pier
The little man started to get sleepy since we missed nap time and fell asleep on Daddy's shoulder.
and continued his nap with daddy at home. Sadly Seth ended up with a fever and throwing up later that night.....so not quite the romantic evening we had planned either. But he ended up guzzling 2 juice boxes and seemed to perk up. We think he got sun stroke or something. But happy 5 years to us. I love you Ryan!!
