We've had some fun!!!
This year for Valentine's Day Ryan and I both had the day off. So we headed to Buena Park to go to the Hollywood Wax Museum. When we got there there was a big fat sign that said "CLOSED AND WILL NOT REOPEN." We were disappointed but we decided to go across the street to the Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum (remember that show??) It was interesting but it was one of those places that you need to go to to say you did, but you probably won't go ever again. Later that night we went to Pole Position, indoor go-kart racing with Jeff and Danielle. As you can tell I wasn't the fastest one out there. But Ryan won one race, and Jeff won one race, which was great becasue if you know those two you would know that it is best not to let their egos get too big!!! It was a great night. Thanks Jeff and Danielle for the fun night!
This past weekend we went to San Diego to visit my Aunt Lani. It was an even greater treat to have my Grandparents, Mamo and Oohoo, there visiting from Utah. It was great to see them and it made me miss Utah. (I know, I thought that I wouldn't ever say it, but I do miss Utah.) Anyways on saturday morning me, Ryan, and Mamo went over to the Body exhibit in San Diego. If you don't know what this is it is one of the most intersting things I have ever been to. It is an exibit about the human body, that uses real dead human bodies!!! In China they have found a new way to preserve anatomy with plastics. Every thing in the exibit is real!!! In each room of the exibit it covers a different system of the body like the bones, muscles, cardiovascular, central nervous system etc... They had in each room many bodies displaying the different system. The coolest room was the fetus room. They had a different fetus displaying the growth week by week. They also had a couple of babies that had birth defects. It made me kinda sad but the exibit assured us that they died in the womb due to complications. But it was awesome to see how a baby grows.
Also while is San Diego we all went to Scripps Aquarium. It was a really cool aquarium because it was right on the beach and it had many tanks that showed what the different habitats of the animals are along the California coast.
Yesterday Ryan and I went to the Los Angeles Temple. It was an all day trip because we aren't really close to L.A., but it was a really fun trip to make. The Newport and Redlands temple are a little closer to us, so I think that is where we will try to go regularly. The L.A. temple is special to the Bias family because this is where both Ryan's parents took out their endowments, their family was sealed, Ryan took out his endowments before his mission, and Ryan's sister Danielle was also married there. I was very suprised at how HUGE the temple was. It was the biggest temple I have ever seen. It was very interesting though because in the session there was only 3 men and about 7 women. It made me realize how much missionary work we need to be doing out here, to fill the many many rows of seats in the temple. It is a very beautiful temple, and a great experience to attend there.

Check out my blog to find out the details about “Ladies Night!” I hope you can come!
I know you don't know me yet but it will be a lot of fun, and there will be people there that you do know.
Hey Lindy
I need your number. I lost my stake directory. I hope you can come to Ladies night. I was going to call you, but I couldn't find my directory. Call me if you have any questions
Lindy...this is your long lost Aunt. Tony's wife Jessica found you and put you on my list. It is so fun to see you - in photos at least.
Parker and his Jessica are right there very close to you in the Brea, La Habra area. Jess' brother in law, Ben Gunn, is going to the same school as Ryan. You guys should hook up. They have the most adorable little boy Beckam.
I am just trying to get into this blog thing - my girls are trying to tutor me. So check in and see how I am doing. Love to you both...Kim
